We were engaged to develop a large screen Augmented Reality experience to promote the Technology for Marketing & Advertising event at Earl’s Court London.
We also exhibited at the event promoting Apache to visitors.
Our Task
Work with the TFM&A team to develop an exclusive Augmented Reality concept for the TFM&A event and deliver a cutting-edge large screen experience.

In Detail
Located at Earl’s Court London the TFM&A showcases the latest trends in innovation, inspiration and solutions for using technology in marketing. For this reason they came to Apache asking to help them wow their 12,000+ attendees with an example of a large screen Augmented Reality experience. Using a huge video wall located next to the busy keynote theatre I came up with the concept of augmenting a TFM&A branded robot onto the carpet to interact with visitors. The robot would dance with visitors, high-five, and even explode upon being hit. A flying saucer could also sometimes be seen zooming over the crowds heads. Check out the video above to see the experience in action. In addition to managing the large screen experience I was solely responsible for organising our exhibition stand at the event within a very short two week timeframe. This included planning the space and then designing all the artwork for the stand and associated printed material (including a company brochure and flyers). I then lead a small team in setting up our exhibition stand at Earl’s Court before exhibiting to visitors throughout the two day show. The event ended up being a big success with great feedback from visitors who enjoyed getting hands-on with the technology.
