Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity multi-platform engine and development tools, announced the winners of the 2013 Unity Awards at the Unite 2013 conference in Vancouver. Apache were announced as recipient of the ‘Best Non-game Project’ award for Become Iron Man.
Following the success at last year’s AR Summit, we have been awarded ‘AR Awards Champion 2013’ and ‘Most Innovative Use of AR 2013’ for Become Iron Man, in addition to a commendation for ‘AR Developer of the Year 2013’.
The AR Summit which took place in London on the 13th June played host to the first UK augmented reality awards. We were delighted to be awarded the coveted ‘AR Developer 2012’ award for our pioneering work in the field of augmented reality.
We were also pleased to receive a commendation in the ‘Mobile Agency 2012’ category.

We won the Charity Times Award for best use of technology for our BackCare app:
“A great example of an iPhone app which organisations from all sectors should aspire to.”
It was awarded to the organisation which demonstrated innovative and effective use of IT in any area of its operations.

Our iPhone application, BackCare, was featured in the Sunday Times’ Top 500 App List in recognition of it being one of the best Health & Fitness apps on the App Store.
